HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

long time no see....

time past quickly... i'm into the final term of temping, ending on 3rd July... the team's audit is ending soon and it'll be back to a normal 6pm knock off timing... can't wait for that to happen..

well the internal audit team is made up of auditors from different countries, including an intern from the states! woah can't imagine having the opportunity to go overseas during an internship... how cool can it get....

well as i browse thru the freshmen guide sent by NUS recently, can't really over-anticipate life in the campus...

hmm of course i gotta talk abt my recent trip to mt chabang... it's a really tough experience man!!! phew glad to be back in one piece... the mountain was in it's most natural state, being relatively unknown and less climbed... wat makes it difficult was the rain... making all grounds wet and slippery... and the saf brooks footwear didnt help much... luckily it's quite new; the other guy wore an old saf new balance and had his sole completely came off after all the sliding thru the mud...

the ascent was difficult, i was most of the time on fours... grabbing on anything that i can trust my weight on and climb upwards... for a moment it seemed like never-ending... even though not a tall mountain, the ascent was relatively slower cos the paths are very slippery and there was slipping most of the time...

when i almost reached the submit, i tot... if coming up is this difficult, how to go down?!?! i turned back and looked at the unrecognisable path which i came up from, i juz can't picture me going down... looks like sliding down requires less imagination...

the submit was rather cramped... small space wif bushes and alot of ppl... dun even hav enf space to stand ard... still, enjoyed a brief moment of cool air and nice view...

but wat has to be done has to be done... can't avoid the desent even after lame talks like getting a chopper to fetch us down or even asking them to build an elevator...

the descent was alot faster... compared to climbing up, where i stop frequently to look ard for hand holds and good footings, going down is alot more straight forward....

oh well... i end up with mud and minor cuts all over... hand especially... grabbed stems wif thorns all too often in a bid to resist that free-fall feeling....

unfortunately the group was split up and return to the campsite had to halt to wait for the other group... they didnt come until night falls... tat's when i hav to thank my beloved brother... who in an effort to reduce spendings, gotten me a useless small torch which doesnt really shine even in total darknes...

wonder if it's a blessing in disguise... my trekking speed was rather fast... didnt see wat i was going to step on.... juz go on and go...

of course... keep falling at the same time...

chose to abandon planned climb to mt besar... onli 4 out of 10 of us proceed on wif the climb... they were the oldest and most experienced climbers... a man aged 60, another past 50, the onli lady in the group and one more guy...

well... nice to be back... hahaaa... not a bad experience but it's too challenging for me to be enjoyable...

next stop - batam trip!! 20th to 24th... looking forward...
