merry christmas and happy boxing day

life continued soon after i booked out on an early friday evening... no rush, so i rejected a fren's idea of taking a cab, bearing in mind tat i'll be spending like yesterday's the pay day...

dun feel like gg out, it've been a tiring week in camp, so decided to stay at home to rest... spent most of the time in front of the tv, watched shows like guess guess guess, battle of network reality shows, premership highlights... it was like 2330 when i was feeling tired and going to sleep soon when i switched the channel to channel U, where a korean movie, the classic, or love story, just started... right from the start the female lead was on screen, and i was glued to the screen from start to end...

it turned out to be a very touching, romantic, sad, happy and interesting movie... the story line was about a couple brought together by fate, falling in love with each other at first sight (i guess), but with some twists of fate, they did not manage to be together although their love for each other was really deep... dunno why (maybe fate again), many years later, the gal's daughter and the guy's son share a same fate of falling in love wif each other at first sight... and this time they hav a 'happily ever after' ending, they seem to be continuing the love where their parents had left off with...

the great storyline was a big bonus for me watching the show from 2330 to 0230.. soon after i went to the internet to find out about the female lead... son ye jin.... someone i bet alot of guys (like me) can fall in love at first sight... oh i must be the perfect guy to be the lead actor for the show lor... wasted... hahaa...

went for a class outing on saturday (for more info, check out my classmates' blog)... but gotta comment tat i dun really appreciate the "nahia" show very much... maybe watching the classic made my expectations, or maybe my mood had been set to watching love stories onli..

but i still go on the enjoy king kong yesterday, which i watched together wif my two cousins, their frens and my uncle and his wife... 3 hour long... worth it... the action, the drama, the graphics, and way the story unfold... it's a great movie.... made the super unreal seem super real..

"i dun like to watch love story, cos it either make u (if u're not attached) believe in and wait for a perfect true love (which is so hard to find), or it (if u're attached) make u tink tat your love life is not good enough"

leave

got a piece of good news and a piece of bad news... good news - i'll be on leave all the way till the end of the year.... finally can enjoy after slogging so hard at work.... but bad news? i'll still be needed to work, and will hav to return to office everyday, the leave being burned and converted into off.... oh no.... there's a time to work, there's a time to rest... always hear this in sch from the teachers... for me now, it's there's not enf time to work, there's no time to rest....

quite sleepy... ate alot lately.... exercised but dun tink tat's enf to burn all that i've eaten.... how??? i'm fat.... help....

this weekend was rather well-spent.. even though i didnt go for any driving lessons... in the odac gathering yest evening, we all ate to our heart's content at the marina bay steamboat feast.. exchanged presents as well, i bought a orange(or is it other kind of fruit) scented candle, and got a pair of small-enough-to-not-be-able-to-wear converse shoes... dun really noe how to make good use of them.. hahaa... oh ya me and kl oso went to shop at hang ten, and bought some t shirts and a pair of flip flops each at relatively low prices...

the soccer session early this morning served as a good workout for me, and a good source of entertainment for other perhaps... quite a long time since i last exercised.. due to the hectic work schedule i've got.. guess i've gained quite a few pounds...

somebody's on leave for the next two weeks, dun really noe it's a good thing or not... but nevertheless, guess we all will take full advantage of that... hopefully, the days that lead up to my alert red, and those that follow subsequently, will not be too much for me to handle... my gd fren kl's feeling rather down that he has to adapt to staying in and the life of a trainee... but indeed i guess we juz hav to 'ta han' and take everything as they comes... a clerk is seen by many as the most slack vocation, but although i beg to differ, wat we all agree is life b4 and after NS is all wat we've been missing and looking forward to....

and the point of having an emotional support, sometimes i tink even wif all these good frens around, at the end of the day there's no one's arms i can go to too...

but i believe, my time will come again... and so will yours if it haven come.. whoever who's reading this...

good work done!

it had been an eventful week i've had... booked in early on sunday to touch up all the stuff for PATS inspection and worked till around 2am... on monday continued to do so, as well as to set up the conference room for the inspection... also concussed at around 2am...

on tue tat's the actual inspection where the auditors came and inspected.. at the end of the day, we got zero observations... woah!!..

wednesday there's the rehearsal for turn-ops parade. i was actually in the parade, but was pulled out as i needed to attend a briefing wif my dy at hq guards on thr.. so i was juz hanging around and doing nothing... but then, doing nothing means high tendency to get arrows.. and indeed i got when someone bought the issue of fire alarm ringing during the parade to S1.. his reply is "jun kok!!!" and i was appointed to station myself during the actual parade at the staircase ready to silence any alarm tat goes off.. but i continue to hang around wif my branch ppl doing nothing when another guy bought up the issue of finding someone to act as CO during the rehearsal to S1.. His reply? "Jun kok!!!!"... and the rest is history.. or rather, a defining moment for me... hahaa.... booked out later at nite, for a sleep on my own bed..

woke up 0630 on wed morning, set out to yishun wearing smart 4, to meet my dy... i was early, and he reached late... meaning, breakfast is on him... haha... bought mac... didnt really ask him to pay alot.. onli pay abit more than me... juz tat the taxi fare for the ride to hq guards was settled by him... to meeting in hq guards was chaired by DYCGO... and of course, was attended by a couple of LTC and MAJ, together wif other ranks of personnel... and of course, my rank is the lowest in that room.. the meeting wasn't really revelant to us, talking much about NS men... hence we contributed no input, yet got no output, from the meeting.. made our way back to camp after that, in the form of bus.. slept quite well during the journey.. in the evening, there was the turn-ops parade, graced by CGO as guest of honour... i guess it was quite well done... next on the schedule was to attend the celebration of my fren's ROM.. over there at the bungalow chalet i ate quite alot, again... this guy used to crap wif me and everybody in branch... now he've gotten himself married... haha.. happy for him...

den it's today, did nothing in branch other than to wait for booking out... quite a hectic week it've been... hopefully all the waves will subside soon and peace will prevail... hahaa, sound like it's juz after war... whatever the case, can look forward cos i've past another important milestone - PATS - as an ACC... now there's onli an alert red, atec, national day and yet another pats inspection stopping me from ORDing... and when tat day comes, i'll happily shout "ORD LOH!!!"

Home sweet home!!!

hahaa.. finally got my long-awaited off... on tomolo, eh, no, today... ya... this week's kinda slack... not tat i dun hav anything to do, but juz feel there's more than enf time to finish everything.. hahaa... of course muz slack now that i hav the time, if not den where do i find the adrenline for me to chiong work during last min rush???

got a lesson in the afternoon... oh it's been more than a month since i last went for a driving lesson.. tink my first attempt to start the car will fail.. sigh... but hope i'll pick up where i left off fast.... not really often do i get the time for driving...

feels so good todae, started playing dota once i got home... played three games manz... hahaa.. nice... in the last game it was shiok as i top kills despite being the lowest level... hahaa... happily going around wif two hyperstone and an eaglehorn... it's as if i'm carrying a gpmg shooting ppl...

yesterday one of my camp mate, who had returned from overseas scholarship, 'inspired' me to really go all out for it too by showing me the photos that he took when he was there... wow tat's so fascinating, how i wish i really hav the chance to go through it too... he told me to dream my dream, and live my dream... well, i can dream my dream... but when it comes to living my dream..... hmmm....
