duty slut

yea on such a good day wif a good weather for soccer, an i'm on duty... absoultely pitiful... okie, sounds abit exaggerated... anyway, damn sian la...

had a bad start to the day when i got the smart card for duty clerk locked out... tink nv do duty for really long time already.. the password changed but i dunno... so, tired for 3 times and still wrong = locked out...

nvm... there are alternatives.. can still do my duty... logged on to my own account to check email... got some interesting mails...

well after 6 days absent from camp got a bit of strange feeling when booking in...

yest was tys's birthday... we went to somewhere called grapevine, along upper serangoon rd.. the place's quite decent... went there to watch chelsea vs manutd.. oh shant talk abt the match.. not worth talking about...

one thing bad abt the place is that ppl inside the aircon place smoke, till it's rather smokey all around.. every breath u take in there's smoke... and makes the place foggy... when we finally got out, i observed tat ppl sitting outside dun smoke... well i tot it shld be the other way round.. maybe it's all the non smokers who shifted outside due to the smoke inside..

the food's not very filling, although i cant complain abt the qualtiy.. and, let me count... spent 8.5 bucks on dota yest!! wow tat's actually quite alot... but den, at least tat's abt 4 plus hr of playing... more than the 2 hr tat i'll spend if it's a movie...

the first session of dota wasnt very nice... of course la, kanna owned wat.. so sian lor... the second session was better..

after dota-ing and supper, it was 0130.. left wif no other alternatives, kl and i walked home... damn far... when i reached home it's 0200...

hmmm... seems like a long blog... duty duty on a weekend.. so sian... wat can i do?? muz go find other forms of entertainment...

maybe i'll juz find time to sleep.. my fav pastime..

S1's a father!

hahaa... alrite... after my driving lesson yest, received a msg from S1 telling me the ward and bed number of his wife and his baby... hahaa... bet its really joyous for him.... earlier today, went to visit him and his family in kk hospital... can see he's tired, nv sleep since the birth of his baby daughter, but can see the hapiness of a father...

regarding the driving lesson, it was nothing short of disappointing... the car went dead for a couple of times... so sad... the fact that i last took driving lesson was more than 2 months ago, doesnt justify my poor handling of the car... to tink my test is on next thursday... sigh... if i doesnt show can drastic improvement in this short period of time, i'll be failing the test for sure...

will be waking up later for the match milan vs barca... hope it will be an exciting one... wif 2 big teams like these...

enjoying my offs from atec... i derserve it!... yea...

hope something can happen to my limbs and make me drive the car better for tomolo's lesson and onwards...

yea finally no more outfield!!!! no more digging of shellscripts!!! no more sleeping in the cramped rover!!!! hahaa...

i guess it was pretty tough for our guys.... we suffered really heavy casualties... enough to rule ou the possibility of redcon 1 for our battalion...

but guess it can't be helped... i'm sure everyone did their best... we did our best too, and more often than not, it was the circumstances that limit us...

dun wanna go through it again... it was bad from start to end... come tuesday we will noe our result... but i guess it wun be too good....

bad week

yea it had been a lousy week at work... damn sian... really dun like the working environment here... sigh... wat can i do???

felt really badly hit... missed both nites off on monday and tuesday, onli to be called back to camp halfway at nite yesterday.. its when u work hard and no one appreciate... and everyone's juz concerned abt themselves....

nevertheless, had a nice meal @ cartel for lunch yesterday... a treat from S1... very shiok!!!! hahaa....

i wish to ord... really tink NS had degraded my life... or is it juz another character building term of my life... argh... i wan it to be over soon....

so ends a very uneventful weekend... nothing much... wanted to hip it up a bit by joining my brother to go kayak today morning... it's wif a group of other ppl, and they'll gg to kayak round ubin... which is very siong i tot... but, after failing to get any other ppl i noe to join, and oso woke up late, so both of us decided not to go.. hahaa..

went for a physometric test yest at MOE... quite a lot off ppl turned up, roughly got more than 100.. and majority are gals... okie, tats not the point... but the tests incorporate IQ tests, personality, values and health questionaire... the IQ ones are quite siong... didnt manage to finish all the questions, and due to the tight time limit, didnt really tink carefully for all the questions... it's the case of, see, do, next qns.. no time to look back...

after the tests, went to bugis to meet my brother... went to the muslim coffeeshop near the sultan mosque to hav dinner... the 'mutabak', or so i tink it's spelled, very nice... we share juz one and tat's enf... 5 bucks...

briefly shoped around after tat.. my brother bought a long sleeve shirt at the shop domanchi... i saw one which i like, but the price tag...

pillon on my bro's bike home next... quite shiok... hahaa... was a bit dangerous i tink... he was like travelling along the divider between two lanes... 2 lanes become 3 lanes...

okie... blogged quite a fair bit... so sian.... booking in by 7 tomolo... duty clerk.... argh.... low morale.. but monday duty better cos it's not a book out day, nor a nights off day...

block leave

ya, on block leave today... yesterday, went to a nearby coffee shop to hav a meal together, cos it was my brother's birthday... didnt do much for the whole of today... not even into games after getting busted in the pursuit 3 times in need for speed most wanted.. den stoped playing le... watched a bit of the classic, which i finally got to after downloading it the second time... the first time it was an unreadable format..

this time round, i still had to do some research in the internet on how to put .srt files, which are subtitles, inot the video.. cos when u play the movie it's in korean language wifout subtitles... gotta download a programme to play it together wif the subtitles...

a soccer session followed, whereby me, kl, alvin and wk played in the wet ground of the street soccer and bball court.. when i got back home, choing finish the remaining part of the classic... really nice to watch it again...

and the soundtracks... they're really nice too... really like the whole of the movie.. hahaa...
