wat's life abt?

got news... selected to go for division exercise at plc for next two weeks.. sounds siong but i'll onli be in the ops room i guess... but den, was told tat most probably can't book out and wun hav a bunk there... dunno good or not... i still hav some stuff for pats to settle, which means i hav to rush after coming back from the exercise...

played dota again juz now wif branch ppl... quite nice, had fair share of wins and loses... when i use sniper, bought perservence, void stone, lothar edge and den 2 hyperstones... wow... got plenty of mana which i used at my pleasure to cast scattershot and assasinate... if one on one, my 2 hyperstone and lv 4 headshot packed quite a punch... and when all else fails, i windwalk away.. hahaa... wanna buy eaglehorn but game ends b4 i can do tat..

tinking abt the future, i ponders abt wat kind of life i actually wan to hav in, say, 10 years time..

having a comfortable job, finish work at 5, drive bmw back home or to meet up wif frens, hav a jog or trip to the gym to exercise, return home and hav dinner wif family, hav time indulge in the latest tv console game, sleep early and wake up fresh the next day...

and of course, it'll be better if someone special is already a big part of my live...

Nites off

it's a rare nites off and i'm now home slacking away, onli to hav to book in a while later... so sian the journey from camp takes so freaking long...

changed the song u hear on this blog.. it's one of the soundtrack in ff7... haha, sorry i juz love the game.. my fren ask me to try ff10 but i dun tink i hav the time... stay-in clerk ok....

tomolo my brother coming back from australia... guess i'm gg airport den...

supposed to go home for nites off on tue too, back was delayed due to work... in the end it was 8 plus when we can book out, which is too late to go home.. we went tampines instead to hav bk for dinner and catch a movie... the exocism of emily rose... not a bad movie, though it wasn't as scary as i've thought... asked plenty of qns regarding it to my christian frens after tat.. hahaa... onli den i can fully understand the movie...

got 7 days of leave to clear... i hav to clear my leave my end of year or else it'll be burned.. i wonder whether i can apply this year on a date that is next year.. this way it's consumed this year and i dun hav to take it this year... but quite convinced tat my plan wun work and wun be approved, so dropped the idea...

final fantasy advent children

juz watched the movie earlier in the evening... in jap although there's chinese subtitles. doesnt matter though cos can't read much of the words... but anyway it's very nice and the fighting scenes are so captivating.. the graphics are so real, and, tifa looks really good!!

hahaa... ff7 hav been my fav game as i used to craze over it in the past.. hmmm.. can briefly remember tat time i was still a lower sec sch boy wearing shorts to sch.. hahaa.. i love the game, love the soundtracks from it, and of course the characters and the storyline... which makes me glued to the screen watching the movie even though i dunno wat the characters are talking abt... and hey, i even bought a walkthrough wif my brother tat costs 20 plus bucks at tat time, and i've completed the whole game and every side quest... super time wasting, but super nice... hahaa

and so, got to book in pretty soon le... need to prepare the conference room for tomolo's inspection... ya, tomolo's inspection, although there's another one on the 30th.. wonder how we will fare...

weekend hasnt been very much interesting, yest worked till late at nite and met kl at hp for a meal... todae supposedly play soccer but as we sat in dw's car we decided we didnt hav a place to play so we left... dota den wif my dy and his frens whom i met online.. pretty cool, owned the first game and the second was exciting cos it's quite evenly matched until some of us was disconnected from the server... wasted...

really feel like playing ff7 now... but it's a game so old, i wonder who has the disc to lend me???

it's a beautiful saturday... which is too beautiful for my stay in camp for doing work.. juz givs me one more reason to feel sian..

i wan to go home soon... feel so tired and sleepy...

meaningless happiness

a matter of hours b4 i'll be back in the office... played soccer this morning, quite shagged from it.. quite a long time a haven been exercising... do wish to burn more fats....

life seems really still... on a graph it'll be like a straight line, but it's one near the axis, somewhere of low magnitude...

i'm waiting.... there'll be time where the graph dips under the axis, but i believe time will come when the graph soars high up...

but as of now, the forecast of the graph will still be a straight line... unless something unexpected happens....

the new age clerk...

into the 21st millenium, there had been a lot of changes. for one, the expectations and standards of a clerk in army has risen to unprecedented levels, where they are now known as: the new age clerk...

being a clerk is far away from photocopying stapling papers. the new age clerk in the 21st century need to show tremendous initiative and responsilibity, among other qualities, in order to contribute to the nation. we handle administrative work that are deemed as important as training itself, because without a good service support, even the best soldiers and commanders will not succeed. often, the side tat has the support edge will last and thus be victorious.

expected to hav the common knowledge of warfare like usage of weapons, clerks hav to be armed wif knowledge in the battlefield. although we contributed no brain juices in the planning of a mission, we act as the hands and feets of those involved. when soldiers are fighting wif their lives, we are tabulating charts and reports wif our lives. any mistake or delay in this could mean the difference between independence as a nation and hardship as a defeated country.

even in peace time we, as the new age clerks, cannot afford to let loose our guard. we handle all sorts of administrative work, ranging from leave, attendance, documentation to welfare, career management and writing reports of all sorts. we are operational ready, 247365. wif our tight 7-day workweek, we self sacrifice our personal time to our cause.

as much as the high expectations a new age clerk need to fulfil, there is also a high level of stress. inevitable human mistakes that we can make will lead to us having a 8-day, 9-day, or 10-day workweek. although we are fully committed to do our best at no extra charge per hour overtime, we do feel the stress that is impeding our performance from reaching a maximum. it does not show alot at work or play, but at least it has caused a new age clerk to write rubbish in his blog.

do not save

earlier in the morning me and my fren were at the canteen when we are undecided whether we should succumb to the temptations and buy ourselves a bowl of laksa... With money issues in mind, i didnt actually wanted to eat, but we eventually did..

den i somehow came up wif a theory to console myself of having sinned... and here's how i explain to my fren why we shld eat:

the idea of happiness per dollar is the amount of happiness u feel per dollar after spending on something to make yourself feel happy. so it is this happiness per dollar tat determines the value of money.. the more happiness u can get by spending the same, the more happiness per dollar, the higher the value of money at tat point of time..

happiness per dollar generally decreases wif time... the same amount of money tat can buy u this amount of happiness now probably can't do the same 10 years down the road when there's higher expectations to fulfil.

so it's worthless to sacrifice the happiness to save the $2 buying laksa since this $2 probable wun be able to buy us back tat amount of happiness in the future.

so, spend...

OWNING!!!! hahaa... todae went to play LAN at katong after we were given the green light to go.. 4 of us vs a fren wif another 3 of his frens... it was quite evenly matched... All the centre lanetowers are down... but we managed to push down the centre tower at the entrance of their base... it was damn shiok manz.... i was using sniper, the only hero i noe how to use, and i converted it into somewat a magical hero... in my game i hav unlimited mana as i focused on buying intel items and after i got my lvl 3 ulti it became my primary form of attack.. shiok...

alrite, hav to stop being so happy now, cos tomolo morning got to book in again... oh ya, met caleb at the LAN shop oso.. hahaa... he looked good in the officer cadet dressing...

feel like blogging but dunno wat to write... or rather dunno wat to write tat can express wat i feel... or rather, i dunno wat i'm feeling now... feeling rather sian...

which means.... it's time to fall asleep in the voice of cyndi...

burning till chao tah liao arh....

pats inspection preparation.... it'e like a year-end exam which determine waat u've achieved throughout the whole of the year... spend more effort, do gila gila and u will get good grades which will of course please the officers tat matters... slack a bit and life in camp less comfortable than the already-not-comfortable state.. but unlucky me.. stayed overnight throughout working like a worker bee desperate for honey... damn sian manz... due to this i got weak and fell a bit sick... felt so terrible and was sneezing all the way in camp todae...

we were trying to come up wif a vision statement when we ran out of ideas and s1 asked us to draw wat we tink s1 bracnh is to us... and i drew a computer wif the screening saying 'out of service' and a photocopier wif a note next to it saying 'out of order'... supposed to come up wif some description and qualities of our branch, so i put a text bubble next to it saying 'walau all spoilt, i go other branch do work'... and wrote beside it tat we are resourceful and determined to find ways to overcome obstacles...

brother gg aust for training... wun be home for 3 weeks... hahaa now i can own the com le.. but this is not the right time as i'll be burning weekends and weekends, until chao tah still hav to burn... this is where i suggested 'soldiers awol, their ord date will be extended... when we burn weekends our ord dates should be forwarded rite???' sigh... if onli i'm a policy maker...
