welcome home!
the plane finally touched down at CIA around 0715... tat's the end of the two weeks in brunei... oh well, being back home again feels great... hahaa...
browsed through all u guys' blog le... muz really wish KL, WK and alvin a very belated, but very happy bdae...
life's not really interesting at the camp in brunei.. there's hardly a day where my t shirt is dry from sweat.. it's so hot and humid, when i feel like slacking and taking a day-time nap in bunk, i'll juz lie on my bed and sweat buckets... yet in the ops room there's more than enf arrows going around... failed to finish reading the books tat i've brought over there... and fancy doing 5 duties in 12 days... quite a few times got into trouble wif the BOS as i was caught wearing admin attire in cookhouse for lunch (muz wear no.4), so forced to go back bunk change... not tat i mind changing; changing onli takes 5 mins.. but every trip to cookhouse means going downhill, and of course the return trip is a climb upwards... reminds me of bukit timah...
towards the end of the 14 days when training are ceasing and i got a bit more time, there's a chinese chess frenzy going around... unfortunately, i'm not the best chess player around.. in fact, i hardly beat anybody except those who nv played b4 and wans to giv it a try... sigh... the worst record is to lose to my CSM, whom i've nv beat b4, even after he was handicapped a 'car' and a 'horse', or a horse and an 'arti'...
the last day R&R wasn't fun at all.. most of the time we were brought to a shopping mall, perhaps some of the biggest over there, and instruction was to return after two hours.. nothing much to look around... everything can be bought in s'pore at around the same price.. the onli attractive stuff tat u can't find in abundance here is dvd and ps2 games... ya, pirated of course.. priced at $3 a disc, some even come in '3 in 1' movies in a dvd... and there's a very wide range of variety.. looks like the piracy business over there is flourishing... but there's something too bad abt this - we can't bring it over here... wasted... if not i'll surely fill my whole bag wif games and dvds.. oh juz imagine if i live there..... hahaa... can't buy, but no harm watching the movies being played in the shop, where we spent quite some time standing there and watching the myth, into the blue and goal at the same time....
nothing much appealing in brunei, except tat the clouds are much more beautiful over there.. u can see it in greater details...
'off' till book in on thr morning 0730.. hmmm... wonder will they consider it as block leave??
